Each year we honor people who demonstrate exceptional leadership in the Latino community. ¿Oíste? is the only statewide Latino civic education organization in Massachusetts. Our Mission is to promote the principles and practice of democracy to advance the political social and economic standing of all Latinos in the state. ¿Oíste? believes in the creation of a strong and educated Latino community that will actively participate in civic and electoral processes at the federal, state and local levels. Our programs have helped Latinos to critically and civically engage in the life of their community, and to improve and change systems, the quality of life, education, health care and economic development of our entire community.
